Expert Directed Guided Education, also known as EDGE, is the program for anyone who wants to be a true entrepreneur – not just a business owner.  If you want to be truly successful in business, then you need this program.  This curriculum-based learning is evolving into a guided path to make it even easier for you to apply to your life and business.

Focus on Success

Every course is focused on a specific area.  You will receive videos, audios, e-books, and other content to help you apply these focuses to your life and business.  Everything will be completely searchable by topic and subtopic so that you can find exactly what you are looking for when you need it.

A News section is also being added, allowing you to stay up-to-date on everything happening in the world that applies to entrepreneurs.  The Ask the Expert section will allow you to talk to our faculty, as well as allows you to ask and answer questions of your fellow entrepreneurs.

How to Use EDGE

When you log into the homepage of the EDGE program, you will see a brief history of the program, as well as a video about how entrepreneurs will play an immense role in the growing economy.  The right-hand column allows you to see the list of upcoming Mind Your Business Seminars, along with recent news.

The About EDGE tab tells you more about the Edge program and what you can expect.  This includes a video about the upcoming challenges and roles you will face as an entrepreneur.  You will see how our program can help you to improve your business by giving you access to experts from around the world.

The Courses section leads you to all of the expert-led courses that EDGE offers.  New courses are being added constantly.  Each course is broken down into lessons, and each lesson offers a short video, video transcript, exercises to help you apply the principles, and a summary document.

When you select a course, you will be able to see a brief overview of the author and topics that are included.  Extra resources, including e-books and other audio and videos, are added regularly to help you continue your study.  Once you feel that you have mastered the content completed, you can choose to take an assessment, which will award you with a certificate of completion signed by the faculty member in charge of the course.

The Schedule tab offers you a preview of new courses that are planned for upload to the site.  Courses come in a variety of topics – all designed for helping you grow yourself, your employees, and your business.

The Mind Your Business section offers you regularly scheduled live events that feature round table discussions and webinar conference calls.  The events will be based on current events so you get the opportunity to learn from experts in the business world.  The session will be archived for future review.

The Extras section offers you sneak peeks, behind the scenes content, and other additional information that will keep you informed on what is going on.  The Radio tab allows you to access various podcasts from entrepreneurs and faculty.

The Blog section allows you to find blogs that directly related to your needs, whether you are a business owner, entrepreneur or an employee and are looking to improve your business and your career path.  You can also Ask an Expert if you would like to pick the brains of our experts.

Lastly, the Leading EDGE area gives you a personal strategy of the day, which can be viewed by email, Twitter, or logging on.  It will give you a strategy to think about and apply to your life – and your success!

For members who want to access their iLearning Global content while on the go, all you need is your iPhone or iPod touch!  Apple has activated full secure streaming, which allows iLearning Global to share information directly with you.

How to Access iLearning Global’s Content Anywhere

You will be able to access content anywhere that you have a 3G or Wi-Fi connection.  All videos and audios will be accessible.  In addition, the entire website has been designed to be compatible with mobile devices, allowing you to view the pages from your phone as easily as you can from your computer.  This will allow you to navigate the site, watch videos, log in and out, and even view and add comments.

When you select a video to view, you will be taken to a new page.  There you will see all of the content that is normally available via the web, including the actual video, comments, related posts and more.  If you need to, simply enlarge the screen to zoom in on the video or other content that you want to view.  The play head will appear in the middle of the video screen, and you simply need to hit the button to view the video.  Hitting the video screen again will pause or stop the video so that you can move on to other topics if you choose.  Clicking “done” will return you to the site, and you can resume using the site.

At the moment, videos have only been optimized for iPhone and iPod Touch.  iLearning Global will keep you informed as the videos become compatible with other mobile devices and smart phones.

All of the features of the site are available using your iPhone and iPod touch.  This means that you can use the search features, browse posts, select tabs, and everything else that you would normally do on your computer.

What Does This Convenience Mean for You?
